In Math Workshop, students used their understanding of place value to make sense of and solve multi-digit multiplication problems.

In Readers' Workshop, students identified "Aha Moments" to help them make prediction about what might happen next.
In Science, students identified each part of plants and their functions. We then used this information to engage in dialogue regarding plants' importance to life on Earth.
In Number Talks, students used near doubles to quickly solve addition problems.
