Book Club Picks!

This morning, students engaged in dialogue to articulate their thinking about the folk tale, "It's All the Fault of Adam" . In addition, they used their readers' notebooks to respond and document their thinking using claims, evidence, and unpacking to prove their thinking/ arguments.

In other news, students found out what book they will be reading for Book Clubs! The kids are really excited about it; ask your child what book they'll be reading!

In the afternoon, we had our Box Top, etc. Celebration. See a snapshot below.  The kids should be very proud of the accomplishments they've made, especially regarding their multiplication facts. Additionally, thank YOU for everything you've done at home to support your child's progress with their multiplication fluency-- this makes all the difference!

Following our little celebration, we read from our new Read Aloud, Warriors.  Ask your child to give you a character trait for Rusty.  Have them use evidence to support and explain their thinking!

Just a friendly reminder, please make sure to check your child's Beaver Folder, especially if your child was selected to participate in STEM Club.  Thank you!
