In Readers' Workshop, we started our Informational Unit of Study. Students learned to use their schema and prior knowledge to ready their mind to read and think about informational subjects.
In Word Study, students collaborated with their peers to create Frayer Models of our EAGER Beaver vocabulary terms, in order to reinforce expectations and extend on their knowledge of these terms and their implications on behavior in and outside of school. In Science, we were in the lab using PowerPoint to create our informational picture books on land forms.
